We are expanding our team at venues including:

  • McDonald Jones Stadium (Newcastle)

  • Central Coast Stadium (Gosford)

There are a variety of roles such as:

  • Ushers
  • Turnstile Operators
  • Corporate Hosts
  • Car Parking Attendants
  • RSA Monitors

To be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the venue/event industry, outstanding personal presentation and a proactive approach to customer service.

Our event team are reliable, dependable and as a minimum committed to working the majority of events at one of these locations.

If you are successful for this role you will be automatically eligible to work at any/all of our other venues and events.

What is the rate of pay?

All casual staff are employed under an Employee Collective Agreement. Specific rates will be discussed at the interview stage.

How many hours will I be working?

Under the Collective Agreement the minimum hours rostered are three (3). Shift lengths vary from venue to venue and also depend on the event.

How & when do I receive my roster?

Rosters will be available via the VIPeople online rostering system "TickBox". These are posted on a Friday for the following week’s events.

Am I supplied with a uniform?

All event day staff are issued with the top half of the uniform on commencement of employment. This will include a polo shirt, jacket, cap and name badge. A deposit will be required which is fully refundable upon return of the uniform in a reasonable condition.

You are required to provide the bottom half of your uniform, which consists of black trousers/pants, black shoes and socks.

Am I required to work at ALL venues?

Our preference is to have all staff able to work multiple venues however due to the geographic diversity and individual restrictions this will not always be possible. You will be asked to advise which venue/s you are willing to travel to when completing the on-line application form.

Will I be required to work every event?

We are looking for staff who will commit to working all events at one particular venue. Additional work is also available at other venues if interested.

Is staff parking provided at each of the venues?

Car parking availability differs from venue to venue, however is usually at your own expense. At the time of being rostered, details of car parking and public transport will be made available.
